Most apps that analyse your face store your photos forever. PepIQ doesn't. Here's exactly how your privacy is protected.

Your Photos Are Never Stored

When you take a scan, PepIQ sends your photo to Google Gemini in real-time for analysis. The photo exists in memory only for the brief moment it takes the AI to analyse it, then it's discarded. PepIQ never saves your photo to any database, server, or third-party storage.

What Google Does With Your Image

Per Google's terms for paid Gemini API usage, submitted images are not used for model training and are not retained beyond the time needed to return a response. Your photo is analysed and forgotten.

What Stays on Your Device

Your scores and peptide recommendations are saved locally on your iPhone. They are never uploaded to PepIQ's servers. Your results are yours alone.

Why This Matters

Facial data is sensitive. In the wrong hands, it can be used for surveillance, identity theft, or worse. PepIQ was designed so that even if our servers were compromised, there would be no photos to steal — because we never had them.

Full Account Deletion

If you ever want to leave PepIQ, tap Account → Delete account in the app. This permanently removes all your server-side records (community posts, comments, likes, and identity) and clears your local data.

Privacy isn't a feature for PepIQ — it's the foundation.
